Where Am I?! and Goodbye Hawaii
Goodbye Hawaii, hello California. A lot has happened in the past few weeks, but since I don't want to write pages and pages, I'll use point form to keep you updated.
*I had a great last few weeks in Australia, made it safely back to Hawaii, and graduated from the program with friends!
*Stayed a few weeks longer in Hawaii to spend time with friends and enjoy the Big Island a bit more.
*My brother came to visit me in Hawaii (he was there for more than 2 weeks!) and we had a great time - his friend also came to visit.
*We hiked to the volcano in the dark of night and got as close to the lava as we could (trust me, the gusts of heat from on your face feel a little nerve-wracking, being that close to the lava).
*I flew to California to spend some more time with family.
*My sister came to visit for a week in California!
Currently I'm taking life a little more slow these days. At one point with all the travel I forgot which country and time zone I was in. It's been nice to put the luggage away (for a few weeks at least) and be thankful for the great experiences. I will miss my new friends dearly, and hope to visit them in the future if possible. The adventures aren't over, but the adventures in Hawaii will have to pause until the next trip out to the island!
Cheers,
Amy
